Name: Bassem Baladi
Country: Syria
Bassem Baladi, born in Damascus in 1965, is a plastic artist and a licensed calligrapher with all kinds of Arabic calligraphy. I learned in Damascus schools at the hands of senior artists. I got licenses in Arabic calligraphy and drawing of all kinds. I have been working as a professional in the field of paintings since 41 years. I participated in many international and local competitions and exhibitions and achieved good success. My artworks received awards and certificates of appreciation from artistic committees. I worked as a teacher in several cultural art centers. I taught the students the rules of Arabic calligraphy and drawing. I am still working in this field. I am a member of many artistic associations and forums. internationally and locally. I currently reside in Lebanon.
