在制壶与陶刻风尚变化的新潮流中,陶刻名家高手们开始在紫砂茗壶上以书法或绘画挥就力作,书画的高雅、刀法的遒劲,山水人物的严谨法度,茗壶名刻的相得益彰,形成了集诗书画印为一体的独特民国紫砂艺术。既包含那个时代的生活雅趣,也体现着紫砂陶人的高超技艺和精神审美,从而增强了紫砂茗壶的艺术魅力,深得民国社会上层人士的青睐。

4 费城万国博览会金奖

上世纪30年代之后,“吴德盛”名号越来越响,“金鼎商标”品牌亦越来越响,许多书画名流来宜兴,与吴汉文合作在紫砂壶上作书绘画,。加之吴汉文收藏了大量的古器玩物、紫砂珍品,这些藏品他没有对任淦庭回避。与名家和大量藏品的接触,让任淦庭的陶刻技艺有了极大的提高,丰富的见闻对任淦庭的陶刻创造产生了重要的影响。吴汉文与书画名人协作时也让任淦庭参与。这个期间任淦庭的陶刻艺术水准已入胜境,当时署款多为“干庭”、“左民”、“左腕道人”等。

Since the 1920s, many of the wonderful calligraphic and ceramic engravings on the finished products of "Wu Desheng", such as POTS, bottles, basins, tripods and plates, were made by Ren Gan-ting.

After the 1930s, the name of "Wu Desheng" became more and more popular, and the brand of "Jinding trademark" became more and more popular. Many celebrities of painting and calligraphy came to Yixing and cooperated with Wu Hanwen to make books and paintings on the purple teapot. 香港茶具文物馆馆藏的黑釉长方壶胡耀庭的作品上,底部钤有“吴德盛制”,壶盖内印“耀庭“款,壶一面为书梅枝小鸟,下款“漱石”,另一面歧陶刻铭,附干支款,为1922年吴德盛出品。

壁瓶的造型为常见花瓶竖剖的一半,正面鼓圆,背面平坦。图中所示紫砂壁瓶,通高20.5厘米,正面观看与常见花瓶无异,长圆腹,收颈,束底,敞口,圈足,比例协调优美,背面则十分平坦,颈部有一小孔,便于悬挂墙壁之上,因使用的时间久了有鸡爪纹。下方落天圆地方印款两枚,椭圆印章为:吴德盛制,方章内容模糊待考。

此件壁瓶用料精选团泥,砂质细腻匀净,发色古雅,因长年使用而表面光润。壁瓶腹部陶刻山石细草,山石奇峻,瘦透空灵,丛丛细草伴石而生。刻者刀法精熟干练,深刻细琢轻挑快走,意趣横溢。石草旁有小字:蒲石延年,落款:跂陶氏刻。
